What an amazing week we have had. We've gone into depth of our chosen culture - Islam. This week, we've looked into the history of Islam, including the Five Pillars of Islam, where we've researched and wrote our own information leaflets. We've sketched and water coloured a mosque scene, looked at Islamic geometric repeating patterns (which the kids LOVED), tried our handwriting skills at some Arabic Calligraphy and we had time to write some superb Islamic poetry.
The children really have excelled and had a blast this week - just look at the amazing artwork we've managed to create.
