Culture Week - Catholicism
We have had a fabulous week learning about the catholic religion. We know how important it is to respect others beliefs and learned that many religions are very similar. We have enjoyed making a Rosary pray necklace, stained glass windows and a crown for Mary.
The Iron Man
This half term we have been reading the Iron Man by Ted Hughes and thoroughly enjoyed it. This week we have looked at the use of language and structure of poems. Using the story as inspiration, the children have created their own list poems. Here are a few examples:
Mighty Metal Sculptures
