A few months ago, the children were asked to draw some pictures for Remembrance Day for the residents of our village’s retirement complex. The children loved creating these and asked if they could write letters to the residents. They wrote about their topic work on World War Two and asked lots of questions about whether they remembered the war and what it was like when they went to school. The feedback we have received has been amazing! The residents were thrilled with their letters and the children have been very excited about getting replies. Today, we received a big box full of letters, I have never seen the children so animated reading their personal responses. Our Roseberry family has just got bigger!
