It has been brilliant to be back together this week and we have been very busy!
In topic, we began the week looking at how far our food travels to get to our plates.
Did you know, in order for spaghetti bolognaise to reach our plates it has to travel 9831 miles and sushi has to travel 27 332 miles!
Next, we found out all about farming in the UK. We discussed the types of farming and why it is situated where it is.
Finally, we looked at the best conditions for growing plants and the children came up with an enquiry question and then decided how they could investigate this scientifically. They talked about fair testing and made predictions and they are now waiting to see what will happen...
