Our new topic this term is Winter Wonderland.
To start off our topic, we talked about how we know it is Winter. We thought about the differences between when it is hot outside and when it is cold.
We went into our garden and noticed the different signs of winter. We noticed the ground was hard and the leaves were crunchy. We found lots of ice and lots of our garden furniture had frozen over. We tried to break the ice and noticed the water underneath. We used some great vocabulary such as, hard, smooth, wet, icy, heavy, full, crunchy and popsicles.
