I have been impressed with the teamwork shown in our class this week! Earlier in the week, the children learned how different mountains were formed. They have then worked in small groups to make models of different types of mountains, using cardboard, newspaper and modroc. Today, they painted their models, taking note of the variations in colour. They were inventive in how they used their paint brushes to stipple and remove colour using tissue to create the natural shades and textures. The overall effect is amazing! Well done, teams!
