This week the children have written their own adventure stories. Here's a few small snippets of some of their amazing work!
Maia-
One deep ,damp, dark night, I crept out of my dark ,spooky ,stinky room. I went with my dog Rone, he has a bright yellow coat and long fur. His friend Wink came along as well. Wink wears a pirate hat and an eye patch. We set off on our adventure into the jungle. We walked through the big tall trees which had colourful leaves and long branches. I couldn't even look at them all they were so bright. Just then, a tall gate appeared Rone said" Should we go through?" Wink shouted, "Are you crazy!" We looked around and noticed Rone was gone, where was he? What had happened to Rone?........
Molly-
At the end of the school day me and Mia went in to the playground, the playground was amazing it has a goal post and swing on it! My friend Mia had blond curly hair and was pulled back into a pony tail, she wore purple glasses and had blue eyes. While we were swining on the goal post we were chatting our day when suddenly Miss Burley appeared. My heart was beating like an alarm setting off. I was frozen to the spot. I could see that Mia was shaking like a boat in a storm. Miss Burley came striding over and my heart began to beat faster!
Isla-
One sunny day I set off on an amazing adventure with my wonderful friends, Emily and Jack. We came across an abandoned zoo. The gates were made from grey, metal that stood high in the sky like a skyscraper. When we opened the gates they creaked and groaned. As the gate opened we heard a loud roar. Jack said," What was that?" His hands were shaking. We looked around and saw the bushes moving......
