Robots
The children were interested in robots yesterday!
Lilly picked up a box and put it on her head, she walked around the room making ‘beep pop’ sounds. Lilly noticed she needed a body, so we gathered more boxes and cut holes in the side for arms and legs. The children decorated the box adding, eyes, nose, mouth and an antenna. The other children wanted to turn themselves into a robot so they gathered more boxes and designed a robot head.
Afterwards, we got out some loose parts made from metal. The children explored the different shapes and tools and turned them into a robot.
