Another amazing week of work from everyone!
We started the week off with sketching portraits of ourselves and then we had a superb afternoon of PE, where we practised our throwing, jumping and running skills in circuits. We then ended our week we having a go at Automatic drawing. The children closed their eyes and freely drew on a piece of paper, before adding colour to enhance their artwork. They learnt that Surrealist artists believed that automatic drawing was a way to show your inner feelings. Whenever they used automatic drawing, they tried to clear their minds and let their subconscious express itself, a bit like a dream.
