We left a bingo game out on the carpet during get busy time and all of the children wanted to play. After showing them how to play, the children took it in turns to be the bingo caller. They had to recognise the number and shout it loudly. If they had the number, they needed to mark it off their sheet.

The children did so well at recognising and matching numbers today, they also had so much fun while improving their number skill and number recognition, as well as being patient.

The children continued to reach for number bingo independently this week, they even showed Woody how to play. They all took it in turns to be the ‘bingo master’. To help the children keep track of who was winning, we introduced the children to tally charts. We counted each strike and remembered we needed a diagonal line to make 5.
