Today, the children were learning about gravity and the force it exerts upon objects. In this particular experiment; a pendulum. Children planned an investigation: do the oscillations across 1 minute increase, decrease or remain the same as an object becomes heavier? As we conducted a fair test and the children were surprised to find that, regardless of the weight, the number of oscillations remained the same: 29 per minute. The children concluded that this was all to do with gravity and regardless of the weight of an object, gravity remains a constant force acting upon it. Take a look at the photos above.
