Inuit Artwork
After our engage activity of looking at icebergs, the children learnt about the Inuit people and the different artwork that they produce. They then used the technique of printing to create the middle of their artwork and on Friday, they will paint the detail of the feathers.
Finding ways of making 5
In Maths today we have been using cubes to find different ways of making 5.
We enjoyed choosing 2 different colours of cubes and putting them onto our fingers to make 5.

A New Year a New Topic

Christmas Party!
Today, Year 1 and Year 2 had their Christmas party. We all had a great time dancing, and playing games!
And to add to the excitement, our magical seeds grew over night... into candy canes!
Lazy 8, star breaths and mindfulness!
We were lucky to be treated to a mindfulness workshop on mindfulness and learning how to calm our minds with Sarah Grainge. We learned some breathing techniques to help us calm and focus our minds on the tasks we have ahead.
