I’ve been to Malta for a holiday, and to see Poppy (she is in my family) who has moved back from Malta. However now Poppy and auntie Nicola have moved back from Malta and to England and I like seeing them.

When I went to Disney land nearly all rides I went on broke down when I was on them! It was really fun at first because there was a pool inside the hotel . Disney land is in Paris!

This week we began work on our new text,’The Village that Vanished’.  We have made predictions on what we think that it is going to be about.

We also found out about the area of Africa in which it is set – Mozambique.

This week, we battled against the snow and frost to add to our willow den.  Our hands were getting cold and the ground was too hard to bang pegs in!  We had a go though!

Today we put our taste buds to the test and tasted some delicious flavours of crisps. the children had to taste the crisp, guess the flavour and the describe how it tasted.

Then  we voted on our favourite flavour of crisp and used a tally chart and bar graph to collect the data.

Year 1’s…

My favourite book is Mr Skip. There’s this girl and she has a skip in her garden. She looks in the skip and finds a gnome. And she called him Mr Skip.

It’s about a little girl called Matilda she has been raised by the awfullest parents. They only care about one thing in the world -TV.  I mean seriously who would do that! There’s one thing they do not Know –  she has an extraordinary powers she can pick up any thing by just staring at an object .…

My favourite place is France. I loved the pools because you can get an ice cream that is delicious.

There’s a little boy called Ben who has a granny who smells of rotten cabbage.  He thinks she’s very boring. She pretends to be a gangster ! Ben comes up with the idea of stealing the CROWN JEWELS.
