Today the children thought about healthy food and how we make sure they eat a balanced diet.

The children learnt the names of the different food groups, these being: protein, dairy, carbohydrates,  fruit and vegetable and fats.

The theme for SAW week (science, art and writing) has been space, and we’ve been concentrating all our learning around the moon.

We have completed our mod aliens and I think they look amazing. The children then wrote about them, including things like what they look like, likes and dislikes, and any dangers that come with their alien.

The children have had so much fun creating their collages! Make sure you pop in on Friday to take a look at the superb artwork they have created.
