Isobel has spent part of her weekend baking for part of her topic homework. It was utterly delicious and it looked amazing too. Great British Bake Off, step aside!

This week, during Literacy, we ‘freeze-framed’ the main events from our class text, and showcased them to the rest of the class.

With thanks to Mr Murton, who created a fabulous story map for us, we described the key settings using descriptive language.

This afternoon, during Golden time, we made wooden frames to help the spiders.  Hopefully they will use them to spin their webs in.  We will have a look next week to see if any have moved in!

This week in Literacy, we told the story so far through freeze framing.  The children thought about how each character was feeling and then we captured the moment.  The children loved it!

Over the past couple of weeks, the children have worked incredibly hard and creatively to construct some amazing models.

Thanks to Mr Murton, we have been able to do some fantastic descriptive writing, annotating his story map.  Ask your child what has happened in the story so far, I bet they can tell you in great detail!
