We have had a great week learning all about Islam as part of our Culture week. The children have created information pages, Islamic stained-glass windows and geometric clay tiles, and they all look amazing.

The children have produced some superb topic homework for our current topic 'Alchemy Island'. We have had a range of different artwork, science experiments, PowerPoints and cooking - well done everyone!

As part of our Bounce topic, we printed with balloons and made some jazzy pom-poms to create an art installation.

We also worked collaboratively to design and make some fitness themed board games.  We had great fun playing them too!

This half term we have been reading the Iron Man by Ted Hughes and thoroughly enjoyed it. This week we have looked at the use of language and structure of poems. Using the story as inspiration, the children have created their own list poems. Here are a few examples:

We have come to the end of our brilliant topic 'Mighty Metals' and as part of our innovate project the children designed and made their own wire sculptures. We found it a bit tricky but I think you'll agree we gave it a good go!
