We've had a superb start to our new topic: Beast Creator. During the afternoon on Monday, we took a trip into both our wildlife areas to hunt for mini beasts. We were very careful when uncovering spots where we thought we could find them and even more careful when placing items back. The children had a ball, finding beetles, spiders, woodlouse, slugs, worms and maggots. Check out the photos below:
After we had finished in the wildlife areas, we changed our footwear and made our way into the hall where we were met by Rob from ZooLab. Rob had brought with him a number of mini (and not so mini) beasts as well as an amazing wealth of knowledge. It's safe to say that the children LOVED it! Check out the photos below.
