We have been exploring shapes during our Maths sessions.  We really enjoyed searching for Triangles all around the classroom and managed to find lots of different types.  We even found one in the Construction Area and even one in a dinosaur book.

Our smiley face reward chart has changed.  Instead of receiving a smiley face for our super work we now earn coins.

I have felt so proud this week as everywhere I looked I saw Marvellous Maths and Fabulous Phonics happening. The children have loved trying new activities and love showing me what they have been busy doing. I love to see them incorporating their new knowledge in their play

What an amazing day we had outside today.  The children decided that they wanted to make a new Dinosaur Swamp.  They used spades, brushes, trowels, wheelbarrows and lots of grit and determination to move all of the logs, tyres and stones to their new place.
