Here we are with our finished letters ready to send off to our local MP, Rishi Sunak. We’re hoping he can help us in raising awareness of the catastrophic consequences that deforestation has on the Amazon Rainforest. 

This week, we’ve been learning about the catastrophic consequences that deforestation has on the Amazon Rainforest. In English, we’ve written letters to our local MP, Rishi Sunak, to help raise awareness of this huge problem. We are hoping for a reply! Fingers crossed!

I am so proud of the beautiful work that has been created from our Misty Mountains topic.  Well done, everybody! 

To complete our Misty Mountains topic, we’ve worked exceptionally hard to create information brochures about The Pyrenees mountain range. What beautiful work! 

This week, we’ve been learning how to find factors or a number. We started of the week with a fluency lesson to understand what factors are and how you work them out. Today, we’ve completed a variety of variation challenges. Although this might have been tricky at first, we persevered and…

On Monday, we discovered that our investigation was showing the water cycle...in action! We could see tiny droplets of water on the cling film, and a approximately a centimetre of water in the glass cup. We used scientific vocabulary to write up our investigation in our books. 

We love these challenges at the start of maths! We can divide, multiply, add or subtract to find the answer....

We’ve set up an investigation to find out what will happen to the water inside the bowl over the weekend.....
