We really enjoyed our Pyjama Party on Friday.  We all managed to take off our uniforms and put on our pyjamas all by ourselves.

The bits we found the most tricky were undoing and redoing buttons on our polo shirts and blouses.  We all looked so cute in our bedtime clothes.

We had a fantastic time in the wildlife area this week.  We were making a village for 'tiny people'!

Our new topic this half term is called 'What happens when I go to sleep?'

During this topic we will look at:

*  Nocturnal animals

*  The importance of sleep and rest

The children have been exploring our wildlife area to find mini beasts and this is what they found. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring our outdoor area and this was a great way to start our new topic 'Beast Creator'. 

Today, we introduced our new topic - 'Beast Creator' - by going on a bug hunt in our wildlife areas.  We had a great time, found lots of minibeasts and we didn't mind getting our hands dirty!

Today was a brilliant end to a great half term. The children performed their Harvest songs beautifully and our readers were very brave, facing so many adults! There was standing room only in the hall and it was lovely to see so many members of our Roseberry family coming together to celebrate and…

The rain did not stop us this afternoon.  We enjoyed hot chocolate and smores in the wildlife area.  Lots of happy children!

We have had a fantastic half term finding out all about Charles Darwin.  The children have been enthused and the quality of work produced has been outstanding!
