Seismometers
In topic this week, the children have worked really hard to create a seismometer. A seismometer is an instrument used to record the motion of the ground during an earthquake. The children worked exceptionally well together as a team - superb efforts, everyone!

Playdough and footprints!
This week in nursery we made play dough and painted our feet to make different coloured footprints.
Fabulous Volcanoes
The children could not wait to see their volcano creations erupt. The models were made from paper, tape and Modroc as part of the class topic ‘Tremors'. We used white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to produce a chemical reaction.
They certainly were amazed to see the result!

Maths in PE
This morning, during PE we incorporated some Maths and recapped creating and comparing groups.
We also worked as a team and had a go at creating a new shape. We are really good at making circles and now we can make a square too.
