This week, we received a letter and a map from Blackbeard!  We followed the instructions to find the clues, which led us to the booty!

In Literacy, we worked collaboratively to create group poems about the main character (Erin) from our text, The Secret of Black Rock.

Today was Environmental day. The children were working from home, but they found out all about single use plastics and the affect that they are having on the environment. They then did some fantastic work to raise awareness. Amazing!

This week, the children have been doing their learning online. This did not stop them designing, making and then launching their own rockets. Great fun!

Today was whole school Environmental Day and although school was closed that did not stop super learning from taking place.

I was so proud of my little superstars who were busy at home creating under the sea creatures from junk modelling materials and finding ways of re-using plastic bottles. …

As we come to the end of our final topic 'Stargazers', Year 6 have impressed me yet again with the quality of their topic homework. Amazing!
