What a scrumptious Christmas lunch!
Today, we had our scrumptious Christmas lunch. The tables were dressed with Christmas table cloths and we had crackers and party hats! The food was delicious and we'd all like to say a HUGE thank you to our kitchen fairies, Colleen, Evie, Lisa, Nahed and Chris, and our kitchen elf, Jason from…
Our amazing choir!
On the evening of Saturday 14th December 2019, our amazing choir performed at the Stokesley and District Choral Society Christmas event in Stokesley Parish Church. They were fabulous and Mrs Murton and I were really proud of each and every one of them! Three cheers for the Roseberry choir!
Will your child win our amazing Christmas hamper raffle?
Next week, there will be a Christmas raffle in school. Tickets will cost £1 each via ParentPay, so there is no need to send cash into school. This amazing hamper of art and craft materials and toys was kindly donated by the family of ex pupils, Theo and Katie. A lucky child will be taking this…
Challenge, no choice, for Children in Need!
This morning, the teachers thought they were visiting Friday assembly to hear the children sing a funny song. What they didn't know was that I had planned some challenges for them. In maths we have 'challenge by choice' so I thought it would be a good idea to have 'challenge, no choice' for the…

What an amazing Harvest Assembly!

A superb exhibition of beautiful work!

What I love about Roseberry Academy is that we are a family. We know our children well and often know their parents, carers, grandparents, siblings and dogs, too! Being part of a community is important to us and we welcome the support that members of our wider community offer. Two members of the…
A great School Council meeting!
I had a delightful meeting with the School Council this week. We discussed children’s suggestions of how to make our school even better. They have agreed that they would like to ask RAFT if revenue from future activities could be used to fund monkey bars on the upper playground.
RAFT members…
A huge thank you for another fabulous year!
It’s a while since I blogged – I don’t know where the time has gone!
As we come to the end of another action packed year, I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of the Roseberry family for their commitment and dedication to making Roseberry a fabulous place to be.

Setting classes for September 2019
As you know from my previous blog and newsletter before half term, we have set classes for September considering a number of factors such as boy/girl ratio, Marwood/Roseberry ratio, mix of year groups and the percentage of children with additional needs in each class.
In the past, we asked…
