Wonderful Weather!
What wonderful weather we had today for being busy in the wildlife area! Thanks to Mrs Rowan, the children hung bird cakes, made charcoal, toasted cinnamon apples and drew charcoal pictures on fabric!

Roving Reporters!
In Literacy this week, the children have been writing newspaper articles explaining what had happened to the children in our text ‘Ice Palace’. Miss Rumins was very impressed!
Life Skills
Today, the children had the opportunity to have a taster session of ‘A Game of Actual Life’. Simon Carson was very impressed with the children and they made some very sensible decisions when thinking about saving and spending ‘virtual’ money.

Making charcoal!
The children are loving their time in the wildlife area at the moment. They have been working with Mrs Rowan and looking at how to make charcoal. Next week, they are going to have a go at drawing on cloth with it.
