Last week we explored Roman mosaics and how they told us so much about life in Roman times. We made our own class mosaic by cutting out small tiles of clay and painting, before assembling them onto our design. This is now proudly displayed in our classroom!

Today the children have been learning how to play the glockenspeil, along with reading musical notation, notes e and d. Have a look at our attempts at keeping the pulse.

We really love being outside in our wildlife area! Whether we are relaxing in the hammocks; problem solving with the piping; learning how to light fires; or whittling wands - we love it all!!

This week we have been finding out which substances are harmful to our bodies. We produced amazing fact pages and then finished by creating adverts to warn people away from substances which could cause us harm. Great work everyone!

This afternoon we have been busy making bird cakes to put up in our outdoor area.
