The children have produced some amazing pieces of topic homework to conclude our topic of 'Playlist'.

Today we looked at all of the amazing pieces of topic homework the children have created at home. A huge well done to everyone and a big thank you to those who have helped to produce these fabulous pieces of work!

Year 1 had a great time at their Carnival party this afternoon! The children danced to Brazilian music, learnt a Samba routine, played games and ate party food! What a fun afternoon!

The children are doing so well learning their initial sounds, and are starting to blend. So we have extended this further and have made a new phonics area for the children to access during get busy time. They have loved it!

After a very hot lunch time, we came back to nursery and used our mindfulness jar to relax. We laid down onto the floor, placed our hand onto our chest, and watched as the glitter floated to the bottom. We practiced our breathing while laying nice and calm.

Huge congratulations to Harry Thornton, who has been asked to sign to continue to play for Middlesbrough Football Academy. He thoroughly enjoyed playing at the Riverside stadium last night. What a star!

Well done to Year 1 who won their first ever Times Tables Rock Stars battle! I am so proud of the children! 
 

The children had a great time in the wildlife area today - a brilliant way to unwind after SATs!

We've had a messy time creating colourful pictures using marbles.  After putting the marbles into paint, the children have then rolled them across their page to produce these rather abstract masterpieces!  Well done everyone, we certainly had fun letting the marble do all of the hard…

This week, the children worked hard to create simple, yet effective logos to use on a mock website they were creating! Some of the logos they have designed and made look truly professional!
