We have really enjoyed coming to Nursery dressed as book characters today.

We have a new Self-Registration board in Nursery.

This helps us to recognise our name and makes us feel part of the team in Nursery.

When we come in each day we find our name on the fruit and add it to Handa's basket.

During our Phonics session today we were looking at things that begin with the m sound.  Our favourite was the mouse who wriggled and jiggled all over the table when his tail was pulled.

We tried to balance him on our heads, he was very tickly.

As part of our Phonics session today we made playdough letters.  We rolled our pieces of dough reeeeaaaaallllly long and then followed the outlines to create our m shapes.

Can you eat a Rainbow?

We found out today that yes, you can eat a Rainbow.

We really enjoyed trying all of the different coloured fruits.  The pineapple was our favourite.  Mmmmmm delicious!!

We had snow much fun today.   We made snow angels, had animal races in the frozen water tray, built a snowy landscape for the Polar Bears and Penguins (North and South Poles divided of course).

We really enjoyed making ice-creams in the mud kitchen.

As part of our whole school Cultures Week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year.  Today we have been trying some new flavours.

We had such a lot of fun at the Dough Disco today.  We squished and squeezed, rolled and pinched our dough into lots of different shapes.  We gave our fingers such a good workout at the Disco.

Today we have been busy making Space Rockets in Nursery.

We visited Reception to have a go at making telescopes and binoculars.  When we had finished we went outside to see what we could see.

This week, the children enjoyed learning through play. Although they have beautiful new resources to play with, they had LOADS of fun with a huge cardboard box!
