We were very excited to be doing PE in the big hall today.  We all managed to get ourselves dressed into our PE kits.

This afternoon we had a lovely time at our Christmas Party.  We played lots of party games in our classroom.  First we played Christmas Bingo, we liked it so much we played 4 times.  Then we split up into 3 teams and played a Christmas Quiz.  All of the questions were something to do with…

The woodlands and gardens at Wynyard were so beautiful.  We found lots of lovely fountains and we dipped our fingers in the icy cold water.  Brrrrrrrrrr it was freezing.

During our walk around the Elf Trail we found lots of lovely twigs, pine cones, leaves and berries.  We used them to create our very own Christmas Tree.  The pine cones looked just like baubles.

As we walked around the Elf Trail we had to find all of the Elves and their doors.  We found 10 beautiful little doors hiding along the way.  We knocked on a few of the doors but the Elves were asleep.

We had a lovely day yesterday at Wynyard Hall Gardens.  When we arrived we were given maps to show the way to go on the Elf Trail.

We have been writing CAPITAL LETTERS during phonics.

Mrs Barker wrote the lower case letters on the big board and we had to write the CAPITAL LETTERS underneath.  We are getting really good at saying both the sounds and the names of all the letters.
