Using a protractor
Today, the children have worked collaboratively to help one another in measuring angles accurately using a protractor. They became very competitive in proving that they had the most accurate measurement.

African Silhouette Collages
After learning about endangered animals in Africa, the children created their own silhouette collages with chalk and black card.
Shackleton’s Journey
This week, the children have been using the iPads to retell Shackleton’s journey to the Antarctica using the Power of Reading text ‘Shackleton’s Journey’. They have worked really well collaboratively and tried to include their literacy steps to success.
Most wanted aliens
The children have worked really hard on their posters for their mod roc aliens. What an amazing way to end this half term. Well done children for all of your hard work!
Mod roc aliens
We have completed our mod aliens and I think they look amazing. The children then wrote about them, including things like what they look like, likes and dislikes, and any dangers that come with their alien.

The children have been using components to build their own circuits. They were given diagrams of circuits which they then had to work together to build to see if the circuit was complete.
