This afternoon, Year 2 had a fabulous time doing Boogie Bounce! Thank you very much to Ana, and thank you to RAFT for helping us to do this.

I was extremely impressed with how much energy and perseverance everyone had!  Well done to Year 2!

Our first week back has been fabulous!

As part of our new topic, ‘Bounce’, we did some super PE.  We practised our ball skills, played games including bean bag boccia and target toss, and even did some Harry Potter yoga! I was very impressed with the way everyone worked together as a team…

For our Scented Garden Innovate project, we made scented products.  
We baked lemon and lavender biscuits and made garlic and rosemary butter.  

We used our butter to make scrumptious garlic bread!

Then, we designed packaging and gift tags for our products, and wrote instructions so…

We made some lovely ‘hatching chicks’ Easter cards!

This week, as part of our Scented Garden topic, we used curling and folding techniques to create paper flowers!  We also made printing blocks from foam.  Then, we created repeating patterns with our printing blocks.  Our work looks beautiful on display!
