Christmas Battle of the Bands!
Hi guys,
Since we've already had one battle on the grounds of Roseberry Academy this week (Romans Vs Celts), I figured that it was high time we had another round of TTRS battles. However, as Christmas is fast approaching, along with 2021, I decided to add a twist to this competition: all…

United against bullying!
This week was anti-bullying week and the children came to school on Monday wearing odd socks. We had a special assembly and then thought about how we could unite against bullying. I asked the children: What part will you play?
Writing in role!
This week, the children have been writing both emails and poetry, in role, for work based on the book 'Pig Heart Boy' by Malorie Blackman. For the emails, they had to think about how the characters were feeling and what they would put in an email to each other. I was impressed by the maturity that…
Abstract Art!
As part of our topic this week, the children created their own 'red abstract art'. I was really impressed with the final pieces!
