The children have produced some fantastic homework for our Beast Creator topic - well done everyone!

This week the children have been finding out about and comparing life-cycles. They then worked in groups to create life-cycles using collage. They look great!

The children used an art program on an iPad to create their own 'cartoon' creature. They loved this activity and what amazing results!

To engage the children in our new topic ‘Beast Creator’, we had a visit from ZooLab. Rob brought in lots of different animals for us to hold and talked in great detail about the different classifications of animals. The children thought that he and his creatures were amazing!

We had great fun in the wildlife area today for Goldentime. We relaxed in hammocks, built shelters, climbed trees, whittled wands and made fire! 

The children found out all about Christian beliefs and symbols and created beautiful fact pages to show their learning.

The children have enjoyed the final project for their topic - Pharaohs. 

First, they had to practise their embalming skills. Working with a fellow assistant, they practised wrapping 'oiled linens' around parts of the body to make sure that they had the skills required.
